The Last Train from Denmark

This abandoned train stands somewhere in the countryside of Northern Germany. It is not clear whether it was a single train or if it is just a collection of various railroad cars assembled over the years by a group of railroad enthusiasts. Bilingual signs suggest that at least some of the cars have been used for cross-border traffic between Germany and Denmark.

There are different cars - passenger cars, cargo wagons, and one car contains a wealth of railroad memorabilia, so it seems like it was at least used as a storage car for a railroad museum of sorts.

There are even reports of the train cars being used by a film crew.

Over the years, vandals have destroyed many of the windows and a lot of the furniture in the passenger cars.
